Celtics Updates: Nate Hungry for Victory, Pierce Considering Rest, & HBO Does it Again

For those of you that don't know, Nate Robinson is probably dressing tonight, ironically against his former team, the New York Knicks. I, for one, am really excited to see Robinson -- he can provide a fresh energy that began to diminish with Eddie House because he wasn't able to show it in his play (due to the reality that haunts most of the Celts these days -- every day is another day older), he can score in bunches off the pine, and he'll give us some of that incensed play we've been looking for. There's a difference between incense and petulance -- and it's up to Nate Robinson to bring to proper one to the table for Boston.

Here's what he has to say (CelticsBlog has full coverage of Robinson's debut):
"I love the way everything is team," he said. "They kind of play like a college team. It’s all about the team and winning and the championship. You can see it in their eyes, you can see how hungry they are. I’ve been hungry like that since I was born."

"It's just a sigh of relief to be on a team that just wants to win, win, win," Robinson said. "That's all it's about. I love that. I want to be a part of a great team, a great organization that has a lot of great history, and hopefully I'll get to set some myself."
Paul Pierce hopes to have the chance to rest his injuries for "the next few days," as he told CSNNE. Pierce also discussed the Eddie House-Robinson trade, and HBO's Larry Bird-Magic Johnson documentary.

Speaking of the new documentary, Red's Army there for the special presentation at the Garden and gave us the lowdown on the events.

Enjoy tonight's game!
